The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere

Day one, 31st August. Messrs Bush (the falconer) and his home based 'Middle Eastern' Architects have been predictably embarassed by the falcon-induced deaths of women and children in Lebanon. No one controls events in the Middle East (Ask Judas) and Bush & Co. should have had the sense to know it (but they never do, do they),

Turning and turning in the widening gyre,
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the center cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
